About Author

Hi there, I’m Weinan Z, currently enjoying the sunny skies of Sydney, Australia, though I spend most of my time in the “clouds”—the computing ones, not the fluffy ones. I work at an open-source company, where I focus on helping others navigate the maze of technology, offering technical guidance and coaching like a personal tech GPS.

With a background in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing, I love sharing my geeky knowledge through technical writing and mentoring—because who doesn’t enjoy a well-written Linux article, right? When I’m not buried in code, I like to explore the local tech scene and keep my hands busy with open-source projects.

I’ve got a special place in my heart (and probably too many bookmarks) for Red Hat products like Linux, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, OpenShift, and OpenShift AI. I’m also deeply invested in cloud monitoring with tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Elasticsearch—because let’s face it, watching over your IT environment like a hawk is kind of thrilling.

Oh, and before I forget—I’ve been playing with AI for a while, diving into Computer Vision about five years ago. My specialty? Neural networks. So yeah, I guess you could say I’m training machines to see, while also trying not to let them see too much!
